Lead Product Manager - Technical

About the role

Mastercard’s Technology Strategy and Operations team is looking for a Lead Product Manager – Technical to drive the evolution of COSI, the company’s technology cost transparency and investment management platform. Based in New York City, this hybrid role partners with product, engineering, finance and business stakeholders to shape requirements, prioritize work and deliver new capabilities that improve visibility into technology spend, capacity and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product leadership to execute the vision, strategy and roadmap for the COSI platform.
• Own product discovery, requirements gathering, backlog management and feature prioritisation across multiple initiatives.
• Translate complex business, financial and operational requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery plans.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to refine requirements, manage dependencies and remove blockers.
• Work with finance and customer‑success stakeholders to understand allocation methodologies, reporting needs and reconciliation processes.
• Monitor product performance, platform health, adoption metrics and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support roadmap planning, initiative sizing, dependency management and release readiness.
• Facilitate stakeholder reviews, demos, testing activities and post‑release retrospectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading product management for technical platforms or enterprise‑wide tools.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, finance and business teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
• Experience driving agile product development and managing complex backlogs.
