Lead Person – Sanitation Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Person to direct our sanitation crew in a food‑processing plant. The role ensures that all cleaning and sanitising activities meet strict QA and USDA standards, creating a safe and spotless environment for production.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clear direction and training to the sanitation team within an assigned area of the plant.
• Collaborate with management, customers and regulatory agencies to guarantee compliance with sanitation procedures.
• Maintain open communication with all plant personnel and report issues to the Supervisor.
• Clean and sanitise equipment and workspaces, inspect for pre‑operational readiness, and verify that all tasks meet quality and safety standards.
• Handle chemicals safely, monitor usage limits, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Identify and address missing or damaged parts and equipment, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 6 months experience in sanitation or food‑processing environments.
• Strong leadership and decision‑making abilities.
• Safety‑focused with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions and follow directions from management.

Required skills
