Lead Operations Auditor

About the role

NexAudit is looking for a Lead Operations Auditor to conduct external EuraCRP certification audits at client warehouses across the United States. This independent‑contractor position combines on‑site visits with remote work, allowing you to oversee certification programs, prepare reports, and train internal auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute operational audits at logistics sites, assessing processes, performance, compliance and regulatory risks.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports and quality findings to clients.
• Lead certification committees, discuss audit results and evaluate corrective‑action plans.
• Develop strategic initiatives to improve the audit function and support annual audit planning.
• Collaborate with clients to identify risk areas, define key risk indicators and evaluate internal controls.
• Ensure implementation of previous audit recommendations and compliance with government regulations.
• Conduct training sessions for clients' internal auditors.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations, ISO audits, or a combination of both.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering; APICS certification is a plus.
• Strong presentation, communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage.
• Self‑motivated, organized, professional and able to travel within the USA.
