Lead Maintenance Technician

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for its Harbor Park community. The role oversees technical and mechanical work to ensure apartments, common areas, and amenities meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and perform work order completion for resident service requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, timelines, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Control inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning items, and ordering new supplies as needed.
• Conduct all required inspections using platforms such as Leonardo 247 and Entrata, ensuring compliance with regulatory and property standards.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, with at least one year of hands‑on maintenance work.
• Eligibility for incentive‑based bonuses.
• Ability to work five days a week with on‑call responsibilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Leonardo 247 platform.
• Proficiency with Entrata property management system.
• Basic knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures and inventory management.
