Lead In-House Specialist

About the role

Konica Minolta is seeking a Lead In-House Specialist to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of its set‑up centre. You will direct a small team of technicians, ensure timely completion of service tasks, and maintain high quality standards across all equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workflow for 3‑5 in‑house technicians, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Ensure parts inventory, tools, and service manuals are up‑to‑date and available.
• Assist with set‑up, service, and refurbishing of all current and legacy models.
• Inspect completed units to verify quality standards.
• Provide feedback to management on hiring, termination, and performance when a supervisor is absent.
• Maintain accurate invoicing, expense reports, and territory inventory.
• Support sales by advising on technical issues and service leads.
• Operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license for field activities.

Required profile

• High school or technical school graduate (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years experience in technical repair of business equipment.
• Proven ability to lead a small technical team and coach individuals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and team‑building skills.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of Konica Minolta product line (current and legacy).
• Advanced troubleshooting and equipment repair capabilities.
• Inventory management and parts ordering.
• Use of laptops for accessing service manuals and technical literature.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
