Lead HVAC Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Lead HVAC Technician to join our commercial mechanical subcontracting team. You will work on a variety of projects across the tri‑state area, from small duct modifications to large‑scale cooling towers and chillers, providing expert service to critical commercial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install, and modify heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning (HVAC) equipment for commercial customers.
• Perform mechanical maintenance on a range of systems, including chillers, cooling towers, ice plants, and tenant fit‑outs.
• Collaborate with the Service Department to support construction, maintenance, and emergency repair work.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and union standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, time‑management, and organizational abilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience as a technician for a mechanical construction or service contractor.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
