Lead HVAC Installer

About the role

Lead HVAC Installer at SALT Service Co, a fast‑growing home services company in Austin, TX, delivering white‑glove residential HVAC solutions. The role reports to the HVAC Service Manager and leads a team of installers and apprentices.

Key responsibilities

• Install replacement HVAC systems, ensuring client satisfaction and quality standards.
• Maintain clean work sites using floor savers and drop cloths, and complete installation paperwork accurately.
• Conduct final checks with the Installation Excellence Form to prevent callbacks.
• Train and mentor installation assistants and HVAC apprentices for maximum efficiency.
• Maintain production levels, complete full system change‑outs in one day, and keep the company truck presentable.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of HVAC installation experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, EPA certification and Texas DLR certification.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Required skills

• Residential HVAC system installation.
• Use of handheld power tools and personal protective equipment.
• EPA and TDLR certified handling of refrigerants.
• Ability to work at heights, ladders, roofs and confined spaces.
