Lead Dental Assistant

About the role

Join Lumio Dental as a Lead Dental Assistant and take charge of the back office while providing chairside support. You will work in a collaborative environment that values continuing education, mentorship, and a caring culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team of dental assistants and coordinate with doctors and hygienists
• Order supplies, ensure compliance, and keep the back office running smoothly
• Expose dental diagnostic X‑rays and record treatment information
• Take and record medical and dental histories, vital signs, and patient histories
• Perform clinical tasks such as cleaning teeth, polishing appliances, applying fluoride, and fabricating temporary restorations

Required profile

• Experience leading a back‑office team or a seasoned dental assistant ready for a leadership role
• Exceptional communication skills and a professional chairside manner

Required skills

• Dental diagnostic X‑ray exposure
• Use of dental instruments for cleaning, polishing, and fluoride application
• Fabrication of temporary restorations and custom impressions
• Recording of patient treatment information and medical histories
