Lead Competitive Intelligence Manager

About the role

SEON is looking for a Lead Competitive Intelligence Manager to own the competitive program end‑to‑end, shaping strategy, gathering intel and turning insights into actionable guidance for product, GTM and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive CI strategy, monitoring competitor moves, pricing, product launches and market shifts in real time.
• Conduct primary (field interviews, deal‑call participation) and secondary research (public filings, analyst reports, blogs, competitor websites) to build a robust competitive database.
• Develop and maintain battlecards, feature‑comparison matrices, win/loss analysis summaries and objection‑handling plays for sales enablement.
• Provide strategic support throughout the sales cycle, joining prospect or customer calls to inject competitive perspective.
• Feed field lessons back to marketing and product to inform messaging, campaigns and roadmap guidance.
• Own CI knowledge management, centralising intel and packaging insights for different internal audiences.

Required profile

• 5+ years of competitive intelligence or strategy experience in enterprise B2B SaaS.
• Domain expertise in fraud prevention, AML/KYC compliance, cybersecurity or related fields.
• Proven ability to translate raw data and field intel into actionable sales plays and product guidance.
• Strong analytical skills and experience creating battlecards, win/loss analyses and competitive playbooks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to present complex competitive landscapes to diverse audiences.
