Language Teacher (Spanish/French/Mandarin)

About the role

Big Blue Marble Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Language Teacher to deliver engaging Spanish, French, or Mandarin classes and language‑immersion summer camps. You will use the Passport to Language curriculum to create a fun, immersive environment that expands children’s worldviews.

Key responsibilities

• Teach language lessons to children of various ages using workbooks, songs, drama, games, and other materials.
• Travel between academy centers as needed to provide language enrichment.
• Communicate clearly with students, directors, peers, and parents, including written updates to parents.
• Maintain a safe, active classroom environment, standing, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 lb as required.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (required); CDA, AA or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
• Fluent in English and one of Spanish, French, or Mandarin.
• Experience working with children in group settings.
• Willingness and ability to travel within a designated territory.

Required skills

• Fluency in the target language (Spanish, French, or Mandarin) and English.
