About the role
This work‑study position supports the laboratory of a Georgia State Government agency. It is open exclusively to Chattahoochee Technical College students who meet federal work‑study eligibility criteria. The role provides hands‑on experience in routine lab operations while contributing to the agency's mission.
Key responsibilities
- Set up laboratory materials for scheduled sessions.
- Assist in the preparation of reagents following standard protocols.
- Clean and maintain lab glassware and instruments.
- Perform inventory checks on lab supplies.
Required profile
- Computer skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Organizational and filing skills.
- Enrollment at Chattahoochee Technical College, good academic standing, and financial need as determined by FAFSA.
- U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or eligible non‑citizen status.
- Pass a mandatory background check.
