About the role
The Laboratory Assistant supports faculty on the main campus by preparing and maintaining biology and chemistry laboratory sessions. This onsite position is essential for ensuring smooth lab operations and a safe learning environment for students.
Key responsibilities
- Assist faculty in setting up equipment, reagents, and workstations for biology and chemistry labs.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Clean and restock lab spaces after each session.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with campus regulations.
- Provide basic support to students during lab activities.
Required profile
- College‑level education.
- Successful completion of college laboratory courses.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
