Knowledge Management Engineering Manager

About the role

Moog is seeking a Knowledge Management Engineering Manager to lead a core engineering team that drives knowledge‑management initiatives across its global business units. Reporting to the Director of Knowledge Management, the role supports the CTO and Global Engineering Council in capturing, storing and sharing critical engineering knowledge to boost operational excellence and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a dedicated KM engineering team, delivering projects and process implementations aligned with Engineering Council priorities.
• Develop and execute 1‑ to 3‑year KM strategies to close knowledge gaps in key technology areas.
• Partner with engineering leaders to embed and sustain KM practices throughout the organization.
• Oversee knowledge capture, documentation, and sharing across product lines and sites.
• Guide cross‑functional teams through organizational and process change.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including work with Moog products and standards.
• 3+ years of people‑leadership experience, with a track record of coaching high‑performing teams.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and collaborate across functions.
• Experience managing change and driving continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and reside locally in the Buffalo, NY area or relocate.
