Knowledge Management Business Partner – US Southeast

About the role

Moog is seeking a Knowledge Management Business Partner to lead KM initiatives across its Southeast U.S. operations. Based onsite in Blacksburg, VA (or nearby Christiansburg or Galax), you will work closely with regional senior leaders to capture, store, and share critical knowledge that drives operational excellence and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead a regional KM support team to execute projects and process implementations aligned with corporate priorities.
• Form and chair regional steering committees, ensuring strong collaboration with Operations and HR.
• Develop and execute 1–3 year KM strategies to close knowledge gaps and embed KM practices across business units.
• Partner with senior technical experts to capture and disseminate critical knowledge.
• Travel up to 30% to support sites and stakeholders as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of operations, quality, or engineering experience in aerospace and defense.
• 3+ years of people‑leadership experience, building high‑performing teams.
• Hands‑on experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 compliance.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and manage organizational change.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with a track record of delivering process improvements.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Solid technical and project‑management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
