Key Account Associate – Macy's

About the role

The Key Account Associate will support the Key Account Manager in driving sustainable growth for Dolce & Gabbana Beauty at Macy’s. Based in New York with remote flexibility, the role combines strategic planning, forecasting, and close collaboration with internal teams and Macy’s stakeholders to deliver commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the commercial strategy for the Macy’s account to increase retail and net sales.
• Develop and manage annual and seasonal Joint Business Plans aligned with brand and sales objectives.
• Partner with Sales Planning and Supply Chain to establish forecasts for basic, promotional and innovation SKUs.
• Ensure inventory, forecasting and replenishment plans meet sales targets and retailer expectations, monitoring out‑of‑stocks.
• Negotiate assortment, merchandising, promotional cadence and in‑store visibility.
• Collaborate with Marketing to execute launches, events, GWPs, sets and exclusives at Macy’s.
• Accountable for seasonal and annual targets including retail sales, promotions, co‑op funding and special programs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Macy’s stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Monitor competitive landscape and share insights to support broader sell‑in strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of key account management experience in department‑store retail.
• Strong understanding of department‑store dynamics, merchandising, promotions and seasonal planning.
• Proven ability to influence and negotiate with senior Macy’s stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized, results‑driven and comfortable working independently.
