Junior Web Application Developer (Remote)

About the role

Halvik Corp is seeking a Junior Web Application Developer to support a large‑scale federal modernization program. This remote position offers hands‑on experience with government technology initiatives, including the ATRRS system architecture and development standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement assigned web development tasks under senior developer supervision.
• Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects in web applications.
• Support testing activities to ensure quality and functionality.
• Participate in documentation and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Learn and adhere to ATRRS system architecture and federal development standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain security compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in web application development.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (or already hold one).
• Self‑motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.
