Junior Trader – FICC Team

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Junior Trader to join its FICC trading team in Atlanta. The role focuses on delivering best‑execution for a variety of over‑the‑counter and exchange‑listed instruments, initially concentrating on FX funding, repatriation, equity‑linked notes and FLEX options.

Key responsibilities

• Execute trades across FX, equity derivatives and commodity derivatives with a focus on best execution.
• Coordinate with operations, risk, compliance and legal to ensure smooth settlement and regulatory adherence.
• Develop and maintain relationships with counterparties to secure liquidity and market insights.
• Support portfolio managers by monitoring positions and analyzing potential trades.
• Stay informed on market structure, liquidity, regulations and trading technology.
• Assist in automating reporting and perform transaction cost analysis using market and execution data.

Required profile

• College degree (finance or quantitative focus a plus).
• Interest in financial markets and willingness to learn trading processes.
• Any prior trading experience or familiarity with investment platforms is advantageous.

Required skills

• Experience with Aladdin or Charles River platforms (preferred).
