Junior Software Engineer

About the role

As a Junior Software Engineer at Vierra you will build and ship products that power our growth platform, working alongside an experienced senior engineering team. You’ll contribute to client‑facing dashboards and internal tooling, ship to production regularly and receive mentorship while seeing the impact of your work on our partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and ship features for web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to translate requirements into maintainable code.
• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain codebase health.
• Debug, monitor, and improve performance and reliability of production systems.
• Contribute to technical discussions and help shape engineering best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript and a modern front‑end framework (Next.js preferred).
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Prisma ORM, relational databases (PostgreSQL) and REST APIs.
• Expert understanding of Git version control and collaborative workflows.
• Bias toward shipping, clear written communication and a growth mindset.
