Junior Software Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

As a Junior Software Engineer at Odoo, you will deliver technical solutions and support to help SMB customers across North America succeed. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, resolve complex technical challenges, and act as a trusted advisor by translating technical concepts into business value.

Key responsibilities

• Own and resolve support tickets, addressing customer‑reported problems and bugs.
• Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and propose short‑term fixes and long‑term solutions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and partner teams to solve customer and partner challenges.
• Serve as a technical advisor, communicating product value to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Manage enterprise support across SaaS, PaaS, and self‑hosted environments while ensuring excellent customer experience.
• Develop solutions using Bash, Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Document resolved issues and share knowledge across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• 1‑3 years of professional experience (technical support preferred) is a plus.
• Experience with Odoo or similar ERP systems, SaaS environments, and Unix/Linux platforms is desirable.
• Additional language skills (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) are a plus.
