Junior Security Assessment Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Security Assessment Specialist to join our remote security team. The role focuses on evaluating the security posture of systems and applications and ensuring compliance with standards such as FedRAMP and BSI IT‑Grundschutz.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, document, and communicate security risks and mitigation strategies.
• Execute scanning procedures and comprehensive security assessments aligned with FedRAMP, BSI IT‑Grundschutz, and other international frameworks.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations to improve security posture based on findings and best‑practice guidelines.
• Support the continuous improvement of assessment methodologies and related documentation.
• Analyze and validate security controls across multiple cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenStack.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in security assessments or related fields.
• Detail‑oriented, highly motivated, and comfortable working in a collaborative remote setting.
• Familiarity with U.S. and international compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and BSI IT‑Grundschutz.
