Junior Mobile App Developer

About the role

Dojo Air is building a connected‑health hardware product that streams real‑time breath data to a mobile app. We are looking for a Junior Mobile App Developer to join a small, fast‑moving team and help ship new features for our React Native application.

Key responsibilities

• Develop app screens and UI components using React Native and TypeScript under senior‑engineer guidance.
• Write and maintain automated tests for every feature you deliver.
• Investigate and resolve bugs reported by testers, tracing issues through a production codebase.
• Gradually expand into deeper layers of the stack, including data sync, backend services, and Bluetooth/hardware integration.
• Participate in code reviews, daily stand‑ups, and release testing as a full team member.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with solid JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals.
• Practical experience with React (from coursework, bootcamps, personal projects, or open‑source contributions).
• Built a personal project using an AI coding assistant (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot) and can discuss its development.
• Basic Git literacy – comfortable with branches, commits, and pull requests.
• Curiosity, willingness to ask questions, and persistence to see problems through.
