Junior Maintenance Technician

About the role

Moog is seeking a Junior Maintenance Technician to join its manufacturing team in Galax, VA. You will support production of printed circuit boards by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting equipment, while working under the guidance of senior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on PCB production equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from operators and management.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, facilities, and production processes.
• Follow lockout/tagout, electrical safety, forklift operation, and other safety procedures.
• Work under the direction of a senior maintenance technician.
• Collaborate with onsite engineering staff and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience or an associate’s degree in engineering technology.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Quality‑conscious with strong mechanical aptitude and good dexterity.
• Proficiency with common hand tools.
• Good communication and strong organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with electronic control systems.
