Junior Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Kick‑start your machine‑learning career by shipping real models to production from day one. You will work side‑by‑side with senior engineers, receive continuous mentorship, and see your code impact real users immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in building, testing, and deploying ML models.
• Write clean, well‑tested Python code for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and data‑quality issues.
• Run A/B and offline experiments, document results, and present findings.
• Maintain and optimise existing ML pipelines, fixing bugs and improving performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers to acquire, clean, and transform training data.
• Participate in code reviews and sprint ceremonies.

Required profile

• 0–5 years of professional or project‑based experience in machine learning or data science.
• Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work under mentorship.
• Solid grounding in ML fundamentals such as regression, classification, and evaluation metrics.

Required skills

• Python (including NumPy, Pandas, scikit‑learn).
• Familiarity with a deep‑learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• SQL for data querying.
• Jupyter Notebooks for analysis.
• Git and collaborative development workflows.
