Junior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Zero is building a frictionless digital experience to accelerate residential electrification in the United States. As a Junior Full Stack Engineer you will join a small, fast‑moving team to develop and improve web‑based tools for homeowners, contractors, and utilities. You will work in six‑week cycles on well‑defined projects, receiving mentorship while being expected to deliver high‑quality code with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a designer and 1‑2 engineers to deliver features for web applications and internal tools.
• Write, test, and maintain code using the Nuxt, Typescript, and Tailwind stack.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and continuous‑integration pipelines.
• Contribute to product discussions, ensuring solutions are grounded in user needs.
• Help improve existing features and assist in the rollout of new product releases.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to put in long hours, and a desire to learn quickly.
• Detail‑oriented, systems‑thinking mindset with a focus on user impact.
• Ability to operate effectively with minimal oversight while collaborating closely with teammates.
