Junior Front End Developer (JS, CSS)

About the role

FMG is looking for a talented Junior Front End Developer to join its web development team. You will work on maintaining and enhancing existing websites, ensuring they are user‑centric, aesthetically pleasing, and highly functional. The role offers an hourly rate of $18‑$20 and provides access to modern tools in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and enhance existing websites using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align design with branding and user experience goals.
• Implement best practices to improve scalability, performance, and usability.
• Participate in project planning and provide technical input.
• Ensure websites meet accessibility and performance standards.
• Use Git for version control and manage code repositories.
• Work with cloud services such as Amazon AWS.

Required profile

• Strong educational background in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient with CSS pre‑processing (SASS) and front‑end development best practices.
• Familiarity with accessibility and performance standards.
• Good eye for design and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time‑management abilities.
• Reliable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps down / 3 Mbps up).
