Junior Financial Analyst

About the role

Converge Strategies is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support its financial operations. The role works closely with company leadership, the internal finance team, and external accounting partners to ensure accurate project financials and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist project managers with initial setup, tracking, and onboarding workflows.
• Monitor project profitability, reconcile tracking sheets with accounting data, and prepare variance analyses.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including employee expense approvals.
• Help maintain and develop corporate cash‑flow models and projections.
• Prepare joint‑venture contract status reports and respond to basic financial inquiries from project managers.

Required profile

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Eager to learn government contracting compliance (DCAA) and corporate finance workflows.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
