Junior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and modern deployment pipelines, while working alongside seasoned engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining development, testing, and production environments.
• Support software deployment and release processes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and application health.
• Help configure and maintain cloud‑based infrastructure.
• Learn and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot basic infrastructure, deployment, and application issues under supervision.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and system administrators.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
• Automate routine tasks using scripts and DevOps tools.
• Follow security, backup, and system maintenance best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field (recent graduates welcome).
• Basic understanding of operating systems, networking, and computer systems.
• Familiarity with Linux or Windows Server fundamentals.
• Introductory knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and DevOps practices.

Required skills

• Linux or Windows Server basics
• Git version control
• Basic scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or GitHub Actions)
• Introductory knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform)
• Awareness of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
