Junior Developer – Remote

About the role

Everforth ECS is looking for a motivated Junior Developer to join our remote team. You will support the creation and enhancement of custom HR applications for federal clients, working closely with users to deliver reliable engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with users to provide debugging support and engineering solutions.
• Develop custom micro‑applications according to client specifications.
• Identify and implement enhancements to existing applications.
• Create and execute software tests and testing strategies.
• Script automation for manual processes and follow version‑control procedures.
• Strengthen application security and use metrics to guide technical decisions.
• Automate administrative tasks with tools such as Ansible.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3 years of related experience, including integration, systems analysis, and production support.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Required skills

• Springboot, React, Angular, GoLang (or equivalent strongly typed languages).
• Kubernetes (microservices, pods), OpenShift, Gitlab, JSON.
• Experience with Ansible, Splunk, REST and SOAP services.
• Test‑Driven Development and configuration‑management best practices.
