Junior Data Analyst – Tableau & SQL

About the role

Siemens is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join its Grand Prairie, Texas team. You will help improve strategic and operational performance by mining data, performing statistical analyses, and creating high‑quality visualizations that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing operations.
• Identify operational challenges, design scripted solutions, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Perform business, operational, and engineering data analysis and deliver clear reports.
• Assess project data needs, conduct exploratory analysis, ensure data quality, and produce compelling visual insights.
• Locate and resolve data problems.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical teams to promote data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics and visualization.
• Strong ability to analyze data using SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with ETL tools such as KNIME (preferred) or Alteryx.
• Development experience with scripting languages (e.g., PHP, Python, C#).
• Strong visual‑design knowledge.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
