Junior Compliance Analyst

About the role

Join eBay's Compliance Operations team as a Junior Compliance Analyst. You will support the maintenance and development of eBay's AML/KYC program, conducting due‑diligence reviews and ensuring regulatory compliance for low‑ and medium‑risk customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform due‑diligence reviews of low‑risk and medium‑risk customers.
• Analyze financial transaction activity and document findings accurately.
• Meet internal service‑level agreements while maintaining high quality standards.
• Resolve AML/KYC referrals from external advisors and vendors.
• Address eBay member account issues, reviewing documentation for compliance.
• Collaborate with teammates and managers on policy updates and procedural improvements.
• Update and review forms to align with local regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of AML/KYC experience or 2+ years in fraud/compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment across multiple time zones.

What we offer

• Base salary range $45,200 – $93,500 per year.
