Junior Accounting Associate 2028

About the role

CCaventus Asset Management is hiring a Junior Accounting Associate in New York. The role supports the accounting of corporate and fund structures, including expense allocations, management fees, NAV reviews and month-end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage expense allocations and payments across complex corporate and fund structures
• Assist in reviewing monthly NAV packages produced by the Fund Administrator
• Prepare and review monthly management fee and incentive fee calculations and capital roll forwards
• Coordinate the monthly close of corporate entities by posting journal entries and running reconciliations in the management company accounting system
• Prepare and review monthly cash reconciliations
• Assist in quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial statements, quarterly board packages and reporting, and ad hoc requests and special projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience in public or private accounting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Detail oriented, organized and analytical, with strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Required skills

• CPA preferred
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Working knowledge of hedge and private equity fund structures
