Journeyman Electrician

About the role

Spark Power Corp USA is looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join its team in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The role involves installing and maintaining electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and institutional customers while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install electrical components such as panels, wiring, junction boxes, devices, terminations, and lighting.
• Run and install conduit (EMT, GRC, PVC‑coated, stainless steel) and terminate conductors.
• Troubleshoot and replace damaged circuitry on industrial equipment and systems.
• Order parts and manage job materials through the company’s computer system.
• Complete work orders according to client specifications and review finished work with customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and prepare proactively for upcoming tasks.
• Interact professionally with team members and stakeholders at all levels.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in industrial, commercial, or institutional settings.
• Valid state electrician license preferred.
• Experience with conduit runs ranging from ½" to 2" (EMT, GRC, PVC‑coated, stainless steel).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex industrial installations.
• Familiarity with instrumentation and controls.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA/NEC electrical codes.
• Excellent blueprint and wiring diagram reading skills.
• Effective communication with team members and customers.
• Problem‑solving aptitude and attention to quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer‑based job tracking.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
