About the role
Spark Power is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join its team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and institutional customers while upholding the highest safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Install electrical components such as panels, wiring, junction boxes, devices, terminations, and lighting.
- Run and terminate conduit (EMT, GRC, PVC‑coated, stainless steel) and wire.
- Troubleshoot circuitry and replace damaged components on industrial equipment.
- Order parts and manage job materials using the company’s computer system.
- Complete work orders per client specifications and review completed work with customers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and prepare for upcoming tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and interact with personnel at all company levels.
Required profile
- 5+ years of electrical experience in industrial, commercial, or institutional settings.
- Valid state electrician license preferred.
- Strong knowledge of conduit installations and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with instrumentation and controls.
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a focus on quality craftsmanship.
