About the role
Spark Power is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join its team in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area. You will work on diverse industrial, commercial, and institutional projects, ensuring electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to code.
Key responsibilities
- Install electrical components such as panels, wiring, junction boxes, devices, terminations, and lighting.
- Run and terminate conduit (EMT, GRC, PVC, stainless steel) and wire.
- Troubleshoot circuitry and replace damaged components on industrial equipment.
- Order required parts and manage job materials using the company’s computer system.
- Complete work orders per client specifications and review completed jobs with customers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and proactively prepare for upcoming tasks.
- Interact with team members and stakeholders at various levels.
Required profile
- 5+ years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in industrial, commercial, or institutional settings.
- Valid state Journeyman Electrician license (preferred).
- Experience with conduit runs ranging from ½" to 2" (EMT, GRC, PVC, stainless steel).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex industrial installations.
- Familiarity with instrumentation and controls.
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA/NEC electrical codes.
- Proficient at reading blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills and problem‑solving aptitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and time‑entry systems.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
