Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer to join its Communications, Media, and Technology (CMT) unit in Irving, TX. You will work on digital, cloud, and AI‑first solutions for clients in the telecom and media sectors, contributing throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Document and contribute to business requirements during elicitation.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture architectural decisions.
• Develop, test, and integrate new features or updates into existing Java‑based microservices, ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, maintain code repositories, and implement changes to the codebase.
• Design and execute test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth application adoption.
• Resolve production issues promptly and propose preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing techniques, and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication abilities.
• Experience handling end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for design and hands‑on coding.
