Java Microservices Developer – Multiple US Locations

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Microservices Developer to join its Retail, Consumer Goods and Logistics unit in the United States. The role will involve designing, building and maintaining micro‑service based applications using Java and Spring Boot across several locations such as Atlanta, Hartford, Raleigh and Richardson.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements and participate in design discussions.
• Develop, test and integrate new features into existing Java micro‑services, ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain code repositories and implement test strategies.
• Provide user training, documentation and support for newly delivered applications.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Capability to translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for software design and hands‑on coding.
