Java Integration Engineer – Remote US

About the role

Infosys Public Services is looking for a Java Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions for enterprise clients across the United States. The role can be performed from anywhere in the US, offering full remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Java backend services and integration workflows.
• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
• Build and troubleshoot Apache Kafka pipelines, including schema management.
• Create and schedule cron jobs or other automated background tasks.
• Write complex SQL queries, tune performance, and optimize Oracle database objects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and use work‑management tools such as VersionOne.
• Apply CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with functional analysts, QA testers, product owners, and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or at least three years of progressive relevant experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities in complex enterprise architectures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and vendors.
