About the role
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with 4–8 years of professional experience to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and distributed systems. The role focuses on modern Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud platforms, and AI/LLM integration. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to relocate anywhere in the country.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java‑based enterprise applications and Spring Boot microservices.
- Build cloud‑native, containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement event‑driven architectures with Apache Kafka and integrate relational and NoSQL databases.
- Develop secure APIs using Spring Security, OAuth2/OIDC, and JWT.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications in production environments.
Required profile
- Authorized to work in the U.S. as a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or H4 EAD holder.
- Willing to work on a W2 basis and relocate anywhere in the United States.
- 4–8 years of hands‑on professional Java development experience.
Required skills
- Java 17/21, Core Java, OOP, Collections, Streams, Multithreading.
- Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security.
- RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture.
- SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra).
- Apache Kafka, event‑driven messaging.
- Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Terraform, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
- Build tools: Maven, Gradle.
- Testing frameworks: JUnit 5, Mockito, Spring Boot Test.
- Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, ELK/OpenSearch.
- Security standards: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT.
- Exposure to AI/LLM integration (Spring AI, LangChain4j) is a plus.
