IT Technician – End User Support

About the role

The IT Technician provides both onsite and remote end‑user support, handling hardware, software, and connectivity issues across the organization. This hands‑on role requires flexibility, autonomy, and close collaboration with end users and administrative staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for laptops, desktops, network printers, iPhones, tablets, and related peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware components, including keyboard and hard‑drive swaps.
• Support Windows 11, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 applications, browsers, and miscellaneous software.
• Maintain LAN and wireless connectivity for end users.
• Install and deploy Windows laptops and desktops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Update tickets, manage device assignments, and maintain equipment inventory.
• Coordinate with the IT Manager, service providers, and third‑party vendors on escalations and resolutions.
• Document issues, resolutions, and communications accurately.

Required profile

• Excellent customer‑service attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, reprioritize tasks, and travel to nearby locations.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb and sit for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
• Minimum 2 years of technical experience or relevant training with a high‑school diploma.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• Computer hardware troubleshooting and basic repair.
• Familiarity with remote support tools.
• Understanding of LAN/Wireless networking.
