IT Technical Support Intern

About the role

The IT Technical Support Intern will gain hands‑on experience supporting IT operations in a fast‑paced healthcare environment, interacting directly with clinical and administrative staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular rounds on hospital floors to engage with end‑users, identify technical issues and gather detailed information.
• Log and document all reported issues in the IT ticketing system with clear descriptions.
• Assist in triaging support requests and communicate details to appropriate IT team members.
• Support the planning and execution of the Windows 11 upgrade project, including software deployments and user training.
• Work alongside experienced technicians to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Contribute to IT initiatives, knowledge‑base documentation and overall team goals.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an associate’s or bachelor’s program in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of computer hardware, software, networking and Windows operating systems.
• Customer‑service experience preferred.

Required skills

• Windows 11 and Windows operating system knowledge.
• Hardware troubleshooting.
