IT Systems Specialist

About the role

ETAP is looking for an IT Systems Specialist to join its Irvine team. The role provides hands‑on technical support and contributes to the ongoing modernization of the company’s IT environment, covering Microsoft 365, identity management, virtualization, and modern networking.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging, resolving, and owning Jira Cloud tickets for end‑user issues (email, Teams, OneDrive, printers, devices).
• Documenting solutions and enriching the internal knowledge base.
• Performing routine Microsoft 365/Entra ID administration (on‑boarding/off‑boarding, group membership, licensing, MFA resets) and supporting SSO deployments.
• Staging and deploying laptops/desktops via Intune/Autopilot, installing applications, drivers, and security agents.
• Assisting with virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V, VMware ESXi, Proxmox) and troubleshooting network connectivity (SASE, SD‑WAN, VPN, LAN, Wi‑Fi).
• Maintaining hardware inventory and lifecycle data in Lansweeper.
• Participating in software/hardware rollouts, patch cycles, and ad‑hoc IT projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work both onsite and remotely.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
