IT Systems Engineer II – Low‑Code Platform Specialist

About the role

World Fuel is seeking an IT Systems Engineer II to join the “Appsters” low‑code squad. In this role you will help govern and evolve the company’s enterprise low‑code platforms, ensuring stability, security, and scalable adoption across a global energy‑services business.

Key responsibilities

• Configure platform components such as permissions, environments, data sources, connectors, service accounts and solution assets in line with team standards.
• Create and maintain reusable templates, patterns, documentation and automation practices to improve delivery consistency.
• Apply governance practices for access, ownership, naming, change control, data handling and lifecycle management.
• Support platform‑governance activities including environment strategy, DLP awareness, connector review, solution packaging, pipeline usage, environment cleanup and orphaned‑asset remediation.
• Monitor platform health, adoption metrics, incident trends and operational risks, providing visibility to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues related to applications, workflows, integrations, permissions, data and platform performance.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on governance, standards and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with enterprise low‑code or automation platforms in a large, multi‑regional organization.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, business users and IT operations to drive platform adoption.
