IT Support Technician – Shift 1

About the role

The IT Support Technician provides first‑line technical assistance to users across multiple United States locations. Working independently and following established SOPs, you will ensure smooth operation of desktop, mobile, and network devices.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tier‑one support for Microsoft Office, Windows 10/11, RF and mobile devices, and network‑attached printers.
• Respond to technical emergencies, prioritize tickets, and back‑up the Service Desk during high‑volume periods.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure teams on technology rollouts, office moves, and enhancements.
• Maintain and improve documentation and SOPs for end‑user technologies.
• Perform Windows desktop support, install/upgrade network printing, configure AD user security and Exchange accounts.
• Diagnose and isolate desktop, server, and network issues.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of PC hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Experience with PC peripheral and anti‑virus product support.
• Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users and make independent decisions.
