IT Support Engineer

About the role

The Dermot Company, LP is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide hands‑on technical assistance across multiple office and property locations in New York and Florida. You will be the primary point of contact for end‑user technology issues, ensuring rapid resolution and smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote technical support for hardware, software, networking, mobile devices, printers, and access systems.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, and inventory company laptops, desktops, mobile devices, conference‑room equipment, and other end‑user assets.
• Manage user accounts and permissions throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and asset tracking records.
• Collaborate with leadership, internal teams, and external vendors to identify and implement technology improvements.
• Assist with IT infrastructure projects such as system rollouts, upgrades, migrations, and testing initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support roles.
• Experience supporting users in a multi‑site environment, preferably in real‑estate or property‑management settings.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across Windows, mobile devices, networking, and common business applications.
• Self‑starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑moving environment.
• Willingness to travel between locations for on‑site support.
