IT Infrastructure Technician

About the role

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Technician to maintain and support the technology environment of the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel. The role provides frontline hardware, software and network assistance to guests, staff and management, ensuring a seamless digital experience throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and perform routine maintenance on PC workstations, laptops, tablets, thin clients, printers and related peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network connectivity issues for end‑users, documenting solutions according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors to complete service requests and escalation tasks in a timely manner.
• Support basic network components such as IP addressing, DHCP and VLAN configurations.
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with hotel security policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or technical training preferred.
• Minimum two years of hands‑on IT support experience in a high‑volume or customer‑facing environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and work effectively in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows 10/11 Professional.
• Microsoft Office 365 suite.
• Basic administration of Active Directory (user account management).
• Fundamental networking knowledge (IP addressing, DHCP, VLANs).
• Experience with standard office and IT equipment (printers, scanners, POS stations, phones, mobile devices).
