IT Help Desk Tier 1 – Onsite Support

About the role
The IT Help Desk Tier 1 provides first‑line technical assistance to employees, handling hardware, software, and network issues both onsite and remotely. This full‑time position supports a variety of office equipment and ensures smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, including network, printers, cameras, telephones, and server support.
- Set up workstations with computers and peripheral devices.
- Install and configure software according to specifications.
- Provide in‑person, phone, or email support to employees.
- Log all help‑desk interactions, track tickets, and document resolutions.
- Escalate urgent issues and inform management of recurring problems.
- Travel to multiple locations to deliver on‑site assistance.
Required profile
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Minimum two years of help‑desk support experience.
- Two years of experience with computer networks and systems maintenance.
- Strong customer‑service background.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
