IT Help Desk Tier 1 Engineer

About the role

Siepe is seeking a Tier 1 IT Support Engineer to act as the first point of contact for technical issues. The role is primarily remote, with occasional on‑site visits to support U.S.‑based clients and internal staff. You will combine technical troubleshooting with high‑quality customer service in a fast‑growing, cloud‑first environment serving financial services firms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide white‑glove support for end‑users, workstations, conference rooms and other managed IT resources.
• Install, configure and maintain desktop applications and Windows‑based workstations, both virtual and physical.
• Monitor ticketing systems, acknowledge and respond to requests within defined SLAs.
• Track infrastructure alerts, perform health checks, and escalate issues as needed.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks following standard operating procedures and change‑management processes.
• Maintain and update IT inventory and coordinate escalations with senior teams.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear, courteous communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel for on‑site support when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
• Experience using ticketing systems for incident management.
