IT Help Desk Technician (macOS)

About the role

Venture Global LNG is seeking its first internal IT Help Desk Technician to provide hands‑on technical support for employees at its Cameron, Louisiana office. The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving macOS and Windows hardware and software issues while delivering friendly, knowledgeable assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide insightful advice and friendly, hands‑on technical support to Venture Global employees.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on macOS and Windows platforms.
• Triage support requests and coordinate with the third‑party IT provider as needed.
• Teach and train staff on new applications or hardware.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes for new and departing employees.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a help‑desk support technician in a macOS environment (Apple Store Genius experience is a plus).
• High school diploma; certifications in Apple products and devices are preferred.
• Strong prioritization, quick decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, and accountability.
• Comprehensive understanding of macOS and Windows operating systems.
