IT Desktop Support Technician – On‑Site Only

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position provides hands‑on technical support for internal staff and external customers. The focus is on modern device management, Windows Autopilot provisioning, and delivering a smooth out‑of‑box experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Tier 1–2 desktop and endpoint support for employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, peripherals, and enterprise applications.
• Manage user onboarding/off‑boarding, device setup, and account access.
• Prepare, stage, and configure customer devices using Windows Autopilot.
• Validate device readiness for Out‑of‑Box Experience (OOBE) delivery.
• Perform quality testing to meet customer and contract requirements.
• Support endpoint lifecycle management, including deployment, refresh, return, and disposal.
• Apply standard configurations, security baselines, and updates via Intune, MDM tools, and group policies.
• Assist with audit readiness, security, and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Consistent adherence to established service protocols.
• Team‑oriented mindset with collaborative work style.
• Clean driving record for travel between Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and surrounding areas.

Required skills

• Windows Autopilot provisioning.
• Windows 11 operating system.
• Microsoft 365 suite and basic identity concepts (Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Intune and other MDM tools.
• Experience with remote‑access support software.
• Use of password managers (e.g., LastPass).
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems.
• CompTIA certifications (A+, Networking+, Security+) – desired.
