IT Deployment Analyst – Level 1

About the role

Atalco is looking for a motivated IT Deployment Analyst (Level 1) to support technology roll‑outs, workstation setup and end‑user assistance across its refinery and mining sites in Gramercy, LA. The role combines hands‑on hardware deployment with on‑site user support in a high‑compliance industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, thin clients, tablets, scanners and mobile devices.
• Set up and maintain industrial workstations, rugged devices, SAP terminals, Wi‑Fi units and VoIP phones.
• Perform hardware imaging using Autopilot, Intune and Meraki MDM.
• Assist with staging of Meraki switches, access points and MX firewalls under supervision.
• Provide Level 1 support for Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and SAP access, including device, printing and connectivity issues.
• Support user onboarding/off‑boarding, account creation and access provisioning.
• Work safely in refinery, warehouse and production areas, supporting field network devices and remote communications (e.g., Starlink, VPN).
• Maintain deployment documentation, asset tracking and ticket updates in the ITSM platform while following safety, cybersecurity and change‑management procedures.

Required profile

• Valid TWIC card or ability to obtain one before start date.
• 1–2 years of IT support or help‑desk experience.
• Ability to lift 40 lb, work on ladders and operate in noisy, hot industrial settings.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 operating system.
• Microsoft 365 suite (O365, Teams, SharePoint).
• SAP access basics.
• Hardware imaging tools: Autopilot, Intune, Meraki MDM.
• Meraki networking equipment (switches, APs, MX firewalls).
• Fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi).
• Experience with laptops, desktops, thin clients, tablets, scanners and VoIP phones.
• Use of ITSM ticketing platforms.
